Version Options for DOCS Open
Version Options has been a surprise success story for Matrix Logic Corporation. The product allows complete control and management of the document version model stored within DOCS. The product’s features include:
- Adding or deleting a document version or subversion
- Adding or deleting a document attachment
- Editing version comments
Version Options sports an easy to use interface and integrates directly with the DOCS Open Document menu. A simple right-mouse click is all a user needs to execute in order to access the application.
Version Options utilizes the DOCS Open API and in doing so is subject to the following limitations:
- Subversions may only be added to document versions prior to the latest version.
- Versions may not be added for Paper Profiles.
- Documents are only allowed one single attachment per attachment suffix.
Version Options currently supports DOCS Open, version 3.0 to 4.x
